TERMS OF BUSINESS

Our wooden flat-pack products including climbing frames, playsets, swing-sets and playhouses are exempt from Distance Selling Regulations - Regulation 13 (c) and the right to cancel goods which "by their nature cannot be returned". The construction process involves drilling and screwing into wooden components which makes irreparable and permanent damage unavoidable. This does not affect the safety or structural integrity of the products, but does affect your rights to return the item. Due to the fact it is impossible and unavoidable to construct the item without causing irreparable damage to the timber we request that you carefully inspect the item after our team completes the construction process. You should contact us with any concerns immediately as we will not be able to accept and fully refund a returned product that has been assembled. Our team will aim to rectify any issues you raise within 14 days of your notice. This does not affect your other statutory rights.  If entitled, a refund will only be applicable if and when the product is returned to us.

WARRANTY

We offer a 10-year anti rot guarantee with our frames - provided responsible maintenance is carried out on the frame after installation. Pressure treated redwood goes through 3 stages when left unpainted or without treatment. It starts off in the "green" stage after pressure treating is undergone, moves to the yellow stage around 12 months later and finally turns to its grey stage after 24 months of being left without any coating. A 10 year anti rot guarantee will apply to all treated timbers, assuming correct use, fair ware and tear and appropriate maintenance has been carried out.

All Play-Frames and Play-Houses constructed by our teams will come with a 2 year warranty. Any damage will be inspected by our teams and if the damage is found to be the fault of improper care or negligence we will refuse these warranty terms. Adequate documentation will be filed in regard to any claimed warranties. Please note that we recommend periodic checks on your equipment and relevant surface coatings to preserve the overall life of your product.

In the case of slide damage, for instance cracks at the top, these are caused either by the wind lifting the slide upwards in high winds or being physically lifted upwards by hand from the base while attached; unfortunately, this is outside the warranty. We advise you be aware of this as it falls under the category of proper and responsible care.

All accessories will come with a 1 year warranty.

The same conditions regarding improper care and negligence will apply.

Timber is a natural product and will expand and contract over time with changes in temperature, moisture content and other environmental factors. Timber will crack and split over time, this should not effect the products structurally. Round posts typically have more visible cracks, but again this should not have a structural effect. If you are concerned with the structural integrity of your timber product please do feel free to contact us. Things like natural knots in the wood and bowing of timber will occur as this is a natural product.
